Where to stay in Locarno
Stay in Locarno for the town with its own railway station, an old town built around Piazza Grande, and a funicular straight up to Orselina and Cardada. Car-free
Five villages on the sheet keep private cars out: Zermatt, Wengen, Mürren, Saas-Fee and Gimmelwald. You arrive by train, bus or cable car, and every destination here can be reached by public transport.
